Glasgow: officially voted the ‘world’s friendliest city’ by the Rough Guides Community. Although the city is well known for it’s deep-fried cuisines, with anything from mars bars to haggis being coated in batter, it’s also a bustling hub for world foods. Whatever your taste, there’s something for you, and with the city being so compact, it’s easy to navigate your way to the best student spots to eat.
